　　In China, the number of November 9 is just the same as the fire alarm phone number 119, and around this day, it is at the season with dry weather, when fires frequently occur. In order to enhance public’s awareness of fire safety, from 1992, November 9th has been set as the national “Fire Fighting Day”. And considering the fire safety work is important and long-term, so since 2018, the promotion activities on the Fire Fighting Day have been expanded for the whole month.

　　The first class hasn’t finished yet, the fire engine has arrived at school. After parking the truck, they are rechecking the items to be shown to the children. Even if it’s just a fire safety activity, they still attach great importance to any details.

　　The lecture hall is filled with children. Upon seeing the firefighters, they are overjoyed as if seeing their heroes. Before the school leader finishes the introduction, warm applause has already sounded from the audience.

　　In order to spread fire safety knowledge and enhance children's awareness for fire safety, the Fire Rescue Brigade of Luozhuang District in Linyi entered a school in November holding a special fire drill activity. Following our camera, let’s go to take a look.

　　This is not the first time I have seen them promoting fire safety. Last time I saw them at Luozhuang Library. As usual, she is making a speech on fire safety, so kind and nice, and then patiently invites the students to the front, practicing how to call the fire service.

　　The campus is filled with sunshine at the Experimental School of Sanjiang Road, Linyi. The uniforms on the firefighters are like a hero's armor in the students’ hearts. They are carefully listening how to use a fire extinguisher and how to take first aid when facing a fire. The fire safety activities at campus not only aim to improve the awareness, self-prevention and self-rescue skills about fire safety for all teachers and students, but also aim to educate a student, inspire a family and influence the entire society.

　　The students’ favorite part is visiting the fire engine and rescue equipment. Putting on a rescue uniform, it seems that he has transformed into a hero too. The Scania fire truck with 4 ton foam water tank is a close friend of firefighters. It has high power, good kinetic energy, fast water diversion, and high flow rate. It has followed the firefighters on their journeys to many places, repeatedly making outstanding achievements.

　　When the activity ends, all the students eagerly take photos with them and say goodbye to them. The activity has raised the students’ awareness for fire safety and helped them learn the methods for self-rescue when facing fires.
